I had such a great experience at the Grayslake O’Reilly’s thanks to Mark. I stopped in because my daughter’s car needed a new battery, and he immediately stepped in to help with patience and real expertise. He gave me helpful on what to watch for moving forward. Mark turned what could’ve been a stressful situation into an easy, almost enjoyable errand. If you need help at the Grayslake O’Reilly’s, look for Mark. You’ll walk out feeling confident and taken care of.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at the Grayslake O’reilly’s! I had come in to pickup some parts for my vehicle and Mark was excited to help me find what I needed. I was blown away by his exceptional customer service skills. His expert knowledge of car parts and how they perform enhanced my shopping experience ten fold compared to all competitors in the area! He answered all of my questions, helped me choose which parts and tools I needed as well as explain to me how I could do the job with ease from start to finish. If you come into O’reilly’s in Grayslake look for Mark and you will not be disappointed!

Was there yesterday to deal with a seized break and had yhe pleasure to speak with Mark. He gave me differnt options on what I could do and even told me how to do it. I ended up buying a few tools and cracking a few jokes! Great guy wouls go back a half hour out of my way just to deal with this man again! He definitely needs a raise!

I came here looking for help changing out spark plugs for my daughter's Mini Cooper. At first, I just needed some tools and the plugs, and the guys were super helpful, friendly, and efficient. But it was a bit later when this "easy" job turned difficult that their service went above and beyond.
I asked if it was ok if I replaced the spark plugs in their lot , which is sometimes frowned upon at other places, but they were totally ok with it, and this turned out to be very helpful when I ran into trouble later.
One of the spark plugs actually broke off inside the engine, and two of their employees, Mark & Zach, were both SUPER helpful in helping me figure out how to resolve the issue, and then made extremely helpful suggestions on how to proceed. I also got some great tips on how to possibly resolve the larger issue that fouled the plugs in the first place.
It was a super hot, steamy afternoon, and I was covered in sweat, and these guys also offered me water several times, making sure I was ok. In addition, they offered to let me borrow any tools I didn't have if I needed them. Amazing service!
In the end, I got super friendly, super helpful, super knowledgeable service from both Mark & Zach, and I know I won't be going anywhere else for my auto needs!

Had to get 2 new batteries for Matt my bosses ford f450 cause he called me with his truck broke down across from First draft in grayslake ILLINOIS. His truck wouldn't start and I believe he had someone else with roadside assistance check his truck so they told him he needed batteries in his truck. While getting batteries I got 2 gallons of antifreeze for big orange dump truck when I noticed they changed the hood on the passenger side of orange international dump truck so it would open without lowering the front plow guard. The hood was sealed shut with clear sealant. O'Reilly's in Zion il helped me with new brake line for rear brake job I did on maroon ford F-250 which wasn't standard cause a friend Justin a mechanic had to borrow me a flaring tool to make the brake line fit correctly. Thanks O'Reilly's for all your help. This is the first company I've ever worked at that has needed so many batteries, blown motors, switched vehicles, and lack of maintenance records or program. The 2 bobcat skid steers we have need a service on them in over 15 months now. The big orange international dump truck got its first oil change after a trip to safety lane in Fox lake Il at Benny's safety lane. When a gray oil spewed all over safety lane so embarrassed and made it back barely to yard in round lake Il. Change all filters but they didn't match the VIN number of international. I have some funny pictures on my phone which indicates whoever has cloned phone has attempted to alter some of my photos or screen shoots. Seriously one of the pics has a white and tan ceiling and another just tan like seriously I've been driving a semi truck for over 25 yrs I expect my CDL A cleared and fixed appropriately please seriously we don't need to involve any legal teams do we FMCSA, USDOT or any agencies on those bait and switches. Cause seriously if u trust me as your test dummy with a straw u can trust me on America's highways even at 80,000 pounds even if I were blind. Thanks O'Reilly's.

Come here very often to shop parts for my car. Went in recently and just wanted a simple oil filter for my 14’ CLS63. Went to do an oil change and it didn’t seem to fit. Went in the next day to try and get a different brand one and to make sure it fits. Arcaidio (my apologies if I misspell your name) and Mark made things super easy for me. They went out of their way & even installed the part on my car to fit right away. Was originally upset but these guys made up for it. Always nice, helpful, and overall a store that has whatever you need. Will be back!!!
