Excellent Service and Genuine Help, But Watch the Policy Tone
I'm consistently impressed with the team at O'Reilly Auto Parts, and that's why they earn a strong four-star rating from me. The customer service and care here are generally top-notch.
Every time I visit, the staff is knowledgeable, patient, and truly focused on getting me the right part or the right tool the first time. The employees on the floor go above and beyond, not just selling an item, but offering helpful advice and even walking me through minor installation tips. Their willingness to look up diagrams and ensure I had all the necessary components for my repair was a level of care I genuinely appreciate.
The only reason I'm holding back that fifth star is a brief, slightly off-putting interaction with the manager regarding the return policy for tools. When I simply asked for clarification on returning a specialized tool I might not need, their comments in passing came across as a bit terse and less customer-focused than the rest of the team. It felt like they were anticipating an issue rather than simply clarifying a policy.
Overall, this is a great store with fantastic people who know their stuff. Just ensure you read up on the official tool return policy beforehand to avoid any potential friction!

Dale deserves commendation for being so helpful with so many customers on a soggy rainy morning. It’s been over a decade since I’ve changed out lightbulbs on headlights. There were too many variations on YT to sift through to figure out how best to access the bulbs involved. I did what I could while Dale was in & out helping customer after customer. I finally had to ask for help. Dale came through with a positive attitude, which couldn’t have been easy with so many customers needing him to go above & beyond. Thank you so much!

Today I stopped in because my windshield wiper decided to exit its place on that last torrential rainstorm. The shop was crazy busy. I stated my issue and the guy behind the counter said "let me see if Dale can maybe help you out with that if you can wait a few minutes". Of course I can wait. The phones were ringing, the lines were getting longer, and after a short wait Dale and the staff completely helped me which required pliers even to undo the damage that I had done. Above and beyond. Every time that I have stopped in to this business has been the same, super super helpful.

Raymond was super helpful in assisting me with the purchase of a new battery for my car as well as installing it. Even though it wasn't an easy install due to the battery being underneath other hardware, Raymond took the time to make it work. On top of this he had great customer service and was very friendly. I was very stressed about getting my battery replaced but he made it a breeze.
