O’Reilly Auto Parts – Northgate Blvd, Sacramento
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Big shout-out to Luke at O’Reilly’s. I was there when things got a little crazy — first, some guy walks in, grabs a bottle of Lucas oil, and strolls out like he owned the place. While we’re still trying to figure out if that was a theft or a magic trick, another guy comes in and starts loading up on LED lights, clearly planning to do the same thing.
That’s when Luke steps up. He comes out from behind the counter, snatches the guy’s bike as he’s about to walk out, and basically says, “Hey man, we can trade this back.”
No yelling, no drama, just calm, firm, and all class.
Luke turned a chaotic situation into a masterclass in handling business. He kept things cool, made sure no one got away with anything, and did it all with a professional attitude.
Five stars for Luke. This guy is the reason this store deserves top marks
I trusted Rick, a shade-tree, wanna-be mechanic who sold me on a wheel bearing job he claimed he could knock out in three hours. That was the pitch. The reality was a disaster. A
He tore into my car, stripped the lug nuts, yanked the CV axles, destroyed the axle nuts, damaged my brake discs, and left the rotors sitting in the rain. After all that destruction, he never even got the hubs off. Not one.
Then he disappeared.
No calls.
No texts.
No explanation.
Just my car sitting on jack stands for three weeks, unusable, with parts ruined, money gone, and zero contact. He bounced completely — took my cash and left me holding the damage.
With Christmas coming up, rent due, and the first of the year right around the corner, that hit hard. I didn’t have the money to tow it or pay someone else to fix his mess. So I did what I had to do — I went to YouTube, learned the job myself, and finished it the right way.
On top of everything, I already knew I needed a new battery, which just added to the stress. Every dollar mattered at that point.
That’s where Luke, David, Tommy and Angel at O’Reilly Auto Parts made a real difference.
David didn’t rush me or talk down to me. He listened, helped me sort through what was actually salvageable, explained what I still needed, and helped me prioritize so I wasn’t wasting money. More than anything, he gave me peace of mind — the feeling that I wasn’t buried anymore, that I was almost out of the weeds.
When someone leaves you stranded like that, financially and literally, having someone competent and calm on your side matters more than people realize.
David helped turn a complete nightmare into something manageable.
That’s why he gets five stars — not just for parts, but for being solid when it counted.
