Had an unusual issue. My water heater has electronic ignition. It's like a spark wire. One end was bad and the good end is smaller that the other. I called and spoke with Manager Kevin. Kevin said he just had a customer with similar problems a few days ago. I took the wire in and met with Manager Kevin. He found a compatible end and boot. He took the time to cut back the wire, crimped the new end on and installed the boot. Installed the repaired wire on the water heater fired right up. Manager Kevin is the man. Thank You so much.

Came in yesterday to purchase cabin and engine air filters after dealership wanted to charge me about $135 for both! Employee was extremely helpful and not only helped me find filters but also installed them for free! The cost for both higher end filters was only $57 bucks with tax! Way better than $135,! As a person without a lot of mechanical knowledge, this is my go to place now, much, much better customer service than competitors, thanks guys!

Stopped by O’Reillys auto parts Santee store on 6/9/26 to grab a drivers side wiper blade. I get what I need, and install it in the parking lot. As I’m starting my car up, it makes a slightly off noise, which made me think to check my oil level (it has a couple leaks and I have to do this regularly). I check the oil level, and it’s extremely low so I go back into the store and purchase some oil. Again I’m in the parking lot, I add the oil to the car, and as I go to start the engine, it won’t start. I attempt to ask people around me for help with a jump as I had cables, and someone offered to help. It wasn’t working. O’Reillys employee Ryan came outside to offer help, also tried to jump the car with his equipment (again didn’t work) so he then did a load test and it was beyond dead. Couldn’t have broken down in a better place!
Ryan and I went inside to see if my battery (which was purchased there) still had warranty left, and guess what?! It had expired 4 DAYS AGO from a 3 year warranty! He makes a call to see about overriding this, and was able to make it happen! The.store was closing in 15 minutes, and even as tired and ready to go home as Ryan was, he grabbed a bunch of tools, a flashlight and helped me install the battery. Thank you for saving me Ryan! My husband had just left out of town, and I also had to pick my daughter up from softball 30 mins later, and had this happened anywhere but at that O’Reillys Santee, it would have been a nightmare. Thank you again, Ryan!! 🙏🏼

I had a sudden and unexpected emergency with my coolant, and Kevin was able to assist me in testing the radiator with water and looking for leaks. We did not see any initially, but soon after leaving the shop, leaks began to show themselves.
Kevin was incredibly helpful and provided this small service for free. At least now I know what is going on.
