I want to commend two of your employees, Rafy and Adam, at O'Reilly's #2362, at 3819 NC Hwy 8 Lexington N.C. Recently I've been to the store several times looking for parts for an old truck. Every time I've walked into that store, those two guys are at the front working. They are constantly hustling and moving to help customers. They literally run all over the place as fast as they can to help customers. But here is what is so impressive, the whole time I'm in the store these guys are running around with a good attitude and a smile. I've spent over thirty years dealing with the public. Keeping up the good attitude while assisting customers, or dealing with customer problems, is not an easy task. Both of them really are a, "people person".
One evening I walk in and back through the isles looking for something. Rafy is at the front counter with a customer. The customer is questioning the price of something. He is not being belligerent, but he is putting Rafy through the wringer with questions. Rafy simply explains the pricing, answers all of the man's questions, then goes on to look for ways too save the guy money on the parts he needed. The customer wasn't exactly happy, but he was satisfied when he left. As I walked by the counter, I told Rafy the guy really put him through it. Rafy felt like he lost the exchange.with the customer because the guy wasn't exactly happy. I told Rafy he won that exchange. Rafy remained professional, took the time to answer questions, and did all he could do to make sure the customer got what he needed. That was winning. I really believe the customer didn't get angry or belligerent because of how Rafy delt with him.
A couple nights ago I went in with a list of stuff to get. Adam whizzed by, noticed the list in my hand, and commented he would help out as soon as he took care of the customer he was helping. A few seconds later the manager started to help me. While he was looking up parts other customers walked in the store, or up to the counter to check out. The manager kept looking around for Adam. Rafy was helping someone and trying to check people out at the register. About the time he asked Rafy where Adam was, Adam walked in the door from stepping outside to help a customer carry something to their car, or check something in their car. The manager commented that he thought Adam was helping another employee in the back. But I knew exactly what he was doing. As soon as the manager began to help me, Adam was on to assisting the next customer.
Both of these men do a really good job of dealing with the customers, AND continually do it with a good attitude and a smile. Any retail business should be glad to have two people like Adam and Rafy assisting their customers.

Most people are bipolar reviewers. They give a 5 if there were no problems and a 1 if there were a problem. I'm not like that. I only give 5s for service above and beyond. I'm giving this place a 5. I've done a lot of shopping and googling to find the best solution for batteries for my skis. The other parts stores didn't have any experience or helpful knowledge on the subject. I was so lucky to run into Bradley at this location. Bradley actually has experience with PWCs and the batteries they use. He steered me in the right direction and actually had intelligent answers to my questions whereas others just didn't. Thank you Bradley.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They got me the part I needed. I was in and out pretty quickly. I was very happy with the service and the part I needed.

Had a great experience this evening while shopping for replacement lug nuts for my Jeep. Rafy was very patient and understanding while assisting in finding options that would work for my vehicle. I would highly recommend this store in particular as the team that works there always seems to be knowledgeable and helpful.

Do your homework before buying any autoparts. O’reillys has quality parts but they are different from the other auto parts brands. Great sales people and store is always neat and clean!
