ALEX and BARBARA. Remember those names (Barbara is bailing and heading home to North Idaho in a few months, and starting her own mechanics school. If you're in the Plummer/Cda/Post Falls area, keep your eyes peeled for a great opportunity!).
Top Drawer service from start to finish. Here's how it played out:
- Walked in, ALEX met me immediately, knew which part I wanted, retrieved it from the aisle, and quick as a New York minute, we were in the parking lot, where ALEX changed my brake light bulb.
- Walked in, working with Alex and mention my Honda's "maint. req." light was on. BARBARA explained how the system worked, gave me advice on where to get it checked for the best service/price. All this while Alex was ringing me up.
- Alex checks my oil, to see if that's what was up with the maint. req. light. Needed oil! We returned to the store, Alex chose the proper oil, and ALEX added oil, and tucked the gallon remaining in the trunk, nice and neat.
I felt comfortable asking "dumb" questions, and being vulnerable--I hadn't given the car the attention it deserved/required and was a little embarrassed. They couldn't have cared less, they were so eager to help me and get me out the door.
Go here, even if it's out of the way. You'll be taken care of whether you are a mechanic yourself or simply a car owner with an older car who needs help.
I'd give 10-stars if they were there for the taking.

Gracie was so helpful! my headlight was out and she was more then happy to guide me through the process of changing my headlights and made sure to triple check that they were both working so good! 😊 Thank you so much for being so helpful i will be back!!

I've been in O'Reilly auto parts a lot these last few weeks working on my truck. Barbara and Andrew have been a HUGE help! Looking up the parts that fit my vehicle, ordering parts, taking me down the aisle to help me find what I'm looking for. I've been very happy with the service I received.

Employee said he could not look up heater hoses. He asked if I knew what size heater hoses. As in Bulk. 5/8,3/4.?
I went home, looked the hoses up online, my local store on Broadway has one hose in stock, and the other is on the way.

Barbara was awesome. Customer service was amazing. I went in to have my battery tested and she also tested starter and alternator which were good. Battery needed replaced and she did it on sight. Thank you very much for your assistance today. Very much appreciated.

The hydrolic hatchback lifts on my car decided to fail recently so I got some new ones at O'Reilly Auto Parts located at 7815 204th St. in Arlington, Wa. I tried to install them myself and even had a guy try to help me and neither of us could manage to do it. I went back to O'Reilly's thinking I may have gotten the wrong parts. Grace Hyatt, an employee there, went out to my car and actually installed the new lifts for me in under a minute. The woman knew what she was doing!!!!!! I never write reviews but I have to give a shout out to O'Reilly's and especially to Grace for a job well done!!!!!!!!!!!
