Bill was so helpful and a lifesaver ! He walked me through the whole process of changing my ignition coil and spark plug. Gave me all the pieces I need and walked me through the steps, even came out and marked the correct spark plug I need to change. I was able to do everything myself with zero mechanical experience. Highly recommend this location and Bill !

By far one of the best O’Reilly Auto Parts locations I’ve been to. I stopped into the Tacoma location on 38th St. today just looking for some help with my key fob. I already had the batteries and wasn’t coming in to buy anything. I just needed help getting the batteries back into my keys so I could get into my car and get to some food I had in the trunk before it spoiled.
Gunter went out of his way to help me get everything figured out, even though he absolutely didn’t have to. He was extremely helpful, respectful, and patient. Q was also great and very helpful while I was there.
It says a lot when employees are willing to help someone even when there’s no sale involved. Gunter and Q provided some of the best customer service I’ve had at an auto parts store. Great people, great service, and easily the best O’Reilly around. Definitely recommend this location!

There's an employee at this location named Cindy who helped me with a sensor read. She was quick and knowledgeable and she deserves a raise :)

So grateful for the staff at this location! Especially Q, he is the nicest guy ever. Helped me with what I needed and didn’t try to upsell me on stuff that I didn’t need. He also helped me do what I needed to do with my vehicle as well.

I went into this location after work because it was close. Rebecca was the lady who helped me get wiper blades for my vehicle. She was very knowledgeable and even put them on for me. A+ for Rebecca, great friendly service.

Bill Pope helped me and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I came in looking for a battery for my 2023 Nissan Rogue. My dealership just advised me to get a new one ASAP, but they were gonna charge me $400 at least. I went into Oreilly’s stressed, crunched for time bc I had to go to work, and I didn’t know a single thing about car batteries. Upon entering, Bill greeted me and immediately helped me at the counter. He looked up the part I needed, told me the price, and helped me sign up my phone number. After checkout, he installed the car battery for me as well! The whole visit to Oreilly’s was 20 minutes! I was back on the road with peace mind, car 100% good, and made it work early. Bill was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I’ll be coming back to this store and asking for Bill whenever I need auto parts.

Stranded away from home with no scanner, I stopped by 3026 S 38th St, Tacoma, WA 98409 hoping to at least diagnose the issue. The staff let me use their scanner right away, and I was able to find the problem quickly. I really appreciated that they didn’t mind me working in the lot and figuring things out on my own. Even though I didn’t get it fixed on the spot, having that scan result made all the difference and I was able to get it home safely. Friendly, helpful, and exactly what I needed in a stressful moment. Thanks again.
