Went here to get my codes read, the guy at the counter was very helpful and friendly. He went outside in the snow to read the codes and spent extra time trying to help my diagnose the problem with my car. Code reading was free.

I had a snowblower pulley that was designed with hate to never be removed. Andrew helped me find the right puller combo and helped me think outside the box(super rare for peers store employees). Couldn’t have done it without you guys! Love the free tool rental.

On my work today I had a hunch my battery was on its way out. The nice you men at the Rexburg Oreilly’s tested my battery and in said good needs chargered. They said to drive it more often and see if that improved the problem. They were so kind to not pressure me into a battery I may not have needed. In the end we replaced the battery. They quickly and professionally installed it and my hunch was right the battery was five years old . Great staff great service!

Been great for 10 years, but there's a manager there who is just angry about helping you.
I asked for a length of hose and Hyrum, who is a manager, walked off in the middle of me asking which options they had, came back with vacuum hose. I asked "is this the oil resistant kind?" because he didn't actually verify with me what I wanted.
He threw a fit.
"It's vacuum hose."
"Yeah. But is it oil resistant?"
"It's vacuum hose."
"I know, that's not what I asked."
"It's good enough for what you asked" something or other.
"I'm not going to argue with you man..."
His hostility made me uncomfortable enough that I paid, left, checked myself on O'Reilly's website and came in to exchange it hoping for another employee. It was still just him, and he made sure he was rude, hostile, outright insulting, and unwilling to look it up because of some perceived insult to his ego that he was asked a question.
That was how the conversation went. I didn't insult him, I didn't raise my voice or tell him to do anything. I was shocked by his behavior and asked another employee if this was normal or if there was a manager present.
For reference, the 27231 EPDM brake hose he brought me isn't oil resistant. It'll become brittle exposed to the oil vapor of crankcase ventilation.
Another employee, after I cut that off, did the right thing and just looked up description of the other hosing, which was explicitly rated as oil resistant.
Hyrum's response made no sense, was unprompted, and is in line with hostile behavior to other customers that I know. Treating them like ignorant jerks who are an inconvenience.
Again, his hostility started from the moment I asked what type of hose he brought and he just outright refused to answer. That isn't normal. I asked a relevant question about the part he brought me.
This is not the first time he's acted like it's an inconvenience to either me or other customers when they wanted to make sure they got what they came for rather than what Hyrum decided was "good enough." Poor professionalism.
Everyone else is great. Keagan did a good job in that visit despite his manager's behavior.
