Normally I don’t leave reviews but today I have too! The manager Mike, at O’Reilly’s 1751 old Preston hwy hillview, Ky was the best! He changed my battery out for me while it was drizzling and he didn’t have too. I went to auto zone across the street, they tried to sell me a battery $44 more than the battery I paid for at this location and they refused to change my battery out because it was drizzling. Thanks Mike, now I can pick up my son from school on time. The icing on the cake, I tried to TIP him for his excellent service and he refused!!!!!

Man I'll be honest I never leave reviews but I have to this time, I broke the T-bolt for my battery went around and everyone was young and didn't either fully understand or just didn't have them but I was in luck and DANNY one of the managers there was super helpful and kind He had the exact bolt in his car and gave it to me! In all honesty he's a straight forward man that is exactly what people are missing he's honest and morally driven it shows him as a man representing a great business

This is the only store for parts I use when performing general auto repair work. Over the years, Google Maps has prompted me to write a review of this OReilly a number of times. I avoided doing so, thinking it would come off as gratuitous, but this time, when the suggestion rolled across my screen, some realizations i had not considered struck me. One is, I doubt I'm important or popular enough for anyone to think that I'm just boosting their star review status. Second, while dealing with these guys for the last 4 years and counting, I haven't had one reason to critique any interaction I've had with them. In fact, during these years, I could have added fifty or more 5 star reviews (which would come off as excessive, I'm certain). Lastly, and as important as it is multifaceted, their service and the honest effort they put into it speak to our continuing relationship and what I consider a friendship. I have on more than one occasion ordered the wrong parts; one of those occasions seen me order 3 incorrect parts (the same part, different versions of it, for the same vehicle) and in not one of those instances was there any frustration, fault finding or finger pointing (even though I quietly thought it was their fault, until I realized it was MINE), they simply took the parts back and worked with me to source the correct component. As for normal day to day dealings (with me, more like once a week or two) using their web services, calling into the store and ordering parts, right down to seeing them delivered runs as smoothly as a CVT transmission (it's just an analogy folks, no worries of the impending catastrophic failure at 8 years or 70k with this group). In conclusion there are folks no longer at this location that I wished I could have thanked personally before they moved on with their life, career, or what have they; so John, this one is for you buddy, thank you for your knowledge, your always positive attitude, the friendly interaction when you're around, and of course for your customer service- you're a top notch dude and i look forward to dealing with you well into the future. I appreciate you and the rest of the folk working with you. Give each other a pat on the back, y'all deserve to be recognized!
Thank you,
Steve
