I'm writing this to recognize and thank employees Rob and Chris at store 1883. My son's 25 year old starter stopped working earlier this week. As a rule, whenever something fails on his car, it becomes a father/son teaching opportunity. When we walked in, both Rob and Chris observed me guiding my son through the process, i.e. year, make, model, mileage, symptoms, known issues and so on. They both expressed their appreciation to my son for learning, demonstrated respect for the teaching moment between us, and added to the opportunity by including their thoughts and sharing stories from their past. Please express my appreciation to them for their patience and candor, but especially their genuine and obvious respect for what I was doing with my son. The bench test of the starter was explained and demonstrated, and they topped this customer service win off with honesty by explaining the starter tested well, and that the fault was somewhere else within the vehicle. We later retuned home, found the fault, which was a bad positive lead/contact, and got it running later that morning. All good things!

Excellent experience. James was a fantastic help, and incredibly kind the entire time. Funny and patient, did a good job getting our battery in the car, and was nice to talk to throughout the experience

Went in to get a new battery and Rob was a great help. Even though it was a super hot day, he was really friendly and installed the battery for us. He was the type of guy to go above and beyond and we truly appreciated it. Would definitely recommend this place for changing a battery!
