Larry Niehaus was extremely helpful when II was through recently and needed a battery on a cross country trip. Larry was quick with the ratchet and had the battery swapped out and me back on the road in no time. A true pro with a smile.

Recently, while passing through Cameron, my car’s starter went out. At first, I thought it was just a bad battery, but one of the gentlemen at O’Reilly tested it and confirmed the starter was the issue. Luckily, they had one in stock, and since it was fairly easy to reach on my car, I decided to buy a few tools and replace it right there in the parking lot so I could get back on the road.
While I was working on it, one of the bolts was being stubborn. Around that time, a nice young man pulled up, walked by, and asked what I was working on. I showed him, and without hesitation, he grabbed my wrench, crawled under the car, and removed the bolt for me. When I went inside to buy the starter, he was chatting with the employees, and I got the impression he might have worked there but was off duty, though I could be wrong.
Whoever he was, I just want to say thank you. He left before I had the chance to tell him that in person. It’s not every day you meet someone that willing to help a stranger.

I came in here to get oil and filter for my truck. As I was walking in the gentleman at the counter asked what I was doing. I explained to him what I was doing. Before I even got to the oil filter section he was calling out the oil filter number that I needed to pick out. He was on top of it and I appreciate that kind of customer service.

This whole post is about a young clerk there named Joey, young people like that are few and far between. Especially in Their own generation.
I noticed I had a marker light out and flickering when I was leaving home last night, I stopped to get replacement bulbs and Joey was right on it. He had the part looked up, came out to doublecheck, walk me through the different bulbs they had tested the old bulbs and then came out and helps get both bulbs straightened out even. I did not ask for not expect this kind of service, (especially after my local auto repair shop charged me $20 last week to install wiper blades that I provided as part of my oil change service)
Anyways, this was not the service that I have learned to expect and this young person is truly an asset to your store. I would say an asset to the brand because any place that offered expedient, polite and competent service like that not just with the know-how in performing the job, but more importantly, the service and courtesy executed were absolutely outstanding in any field. This person his going to go far in life, he has absolute gumption and it is so much appreciated - not just for the service I received last night but also for knowing that these types of clerks and people are still out in the world. This is the type of individual a company should want to retain and help grow. And this is the kind of experience that I will hold as a standard anytime I visit your stores in the future. Someone raised this young person right. Thanks!!
