I spent 4 years, catching up all the maintenance issues on an old chevrolet truck. Most of my parts came from Oreillys.
Front calipers, front shocks, radiator, thermostat, water pump and gasket, Indian head gasket cement, alternator, front and rear brake pads, rear brake spring kit, rear axle fluid, front bearings, high temperature grease for the front spindles and bearings.
I went to autozone for new rear drums and shields, because oreills didn't have them and they suggested autozone. And they did have them. They also had my rear axle bearings.
I had to go to a chevrolet outlet store in Kansas for a new 34 gallon fuel tank, straps and fuel pump. But oreillys did have the hydraulic clutch slav unit refilled and tested for me , when my clutch went out. Oreillys had all the fluids I needed, from antifreeze to transmission fluid to rear axle fluid. Brake cleaner spray cans, they even sold 40:1 fuel for my weekenter and blower. They also sold a truckers air gage, to check tire pressures with. They also have their own air tools, and supplies in case something breaks. You can go to oteillys for a quick fix for your air compressor. Hydraulic jack fluid, dot 3 and 4 brake fluid. O have learned over a period of time, oreillys carries alot of parts, so call them first. Some o.e. parts are special order because they come from the manufacturer. Some o.e. parts can take upto 3 days to arrive. Some can be there in as little as 4 hours or less.

Last week, while leaving Omaha, my car began having issues and I pulled in feeling stressed and unsure of how I was going to make it home. What I found instead were guardians.
Dan was the first to help me — he did everything he possibly could, checking my car thoroughly and making sure nothing was overlooked. When he realized the situation needed deeper eyes, he immediately asked Mike, the manager, to come take a look because Mike is a *retired mechanic*. That alone told me I was in good hands.
Mike didn’t just take a glance — he came outside and stayed with my car for about 20 minutes, personally working on it and monitoring it to make sure it was running properly. They topped off fluids, identified a radiator issue, and made sure my car was safe enough to get me home.
What moves me most is that they refused any payment — no tip, no lunch, nothing. Mike simply said, “Just leave us a review.” Because of them, I made it home safely to my children **in time for Christmas**, and the only thing I paid was $32.40.
In a moment when I felt vulnerable and far from home, Dan and Mike stepped up with knowledge, compassion, and integrity. They didn’t just fix a car — they protected a mother trying to get home to her kids.
I will never forget their kindness. If you ever wonder whether good people still exist and whether customer service still has a heart — it lives here.
Thank you, Dan and Mike. You were exactly what I needed when I needed it most.
